Interface language

Iterel resolves the browser or operating-system preference on first use and lets the user choose a device/account language. Active locale targets are English, Spanish, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, European Portuguese, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian Bokmål, Finnish, and Icelandic.

Catalogs are versioned with the application and never downloaded at runtime. A translation namespace falls back to complete English rather than mixing partial translated controls into one panel.

Non-English catalogs carry an explicit draft/reviewed status. Iterel can run them through the bundled picker while the release gate separately requires native-language review before a locale is advertised as launch-reviewed.

Project output language

Each project independently selects Agent output language or Auto, which follows the active interface language. The resolved language is captured in every round's Context Pack and applies to agent explanations and generated document prose. Code, identifiers, paths, commands, model names, and quoted source material remain unchanged unless the user explicitly asks for translation.

Cloud projects store the preference with the project. Machine-local projects store it in the portable manifest, and an explicit cloud copy preserves it.
