Site analytics

Real-time analytics for projects you have published — pageviews, sources, devices, and a live event feed.

What it tracks

Open the Optimize section in the sidebar to see analytics for the live, published version of your project. The dashboard auto-refreshes every two minutes, and a live feed connects in real time so new events appear as they happen.

The data covers:

  • Pageviews and unique visitors over your selected range.
  • Active sessions right now — visitors currently on the site.
  • Top pages, referrers, and device breakdown (desktop, mobile, tablet).
  • Time-series chart of traffic over the selected range.
  • Live event feed — pageviews, scrolls, clicks, CTA clicks, custom goals, and exits as they arrive.

Tabs

  • Dashboard — the overview: cards for key metrics with health indicators, the time-series chart, and the top-pages and devices breakdowns.
  • Pages — every URL on the site with its visit counts and trend.
  • Sources — where traffic is coming from, grouped by referrer.
  • Live feed — a stream of recent events with timestamps.
  • Settings — toggle analytics on or off, copy the tracking snippet, and configure tracking for projects hosted outside Iterel.

Time range

Pick from Today, 7 days, 30 days (default), 90 days, or a custom range. Changing the range refreshes all panels.

How analytics get collected

If you publish through Iterel, the tracking snippet is injected automatically — there is nothing to install. For projects hosted elsewhere, copy the snippet from the Settings tab and paste it before </head> in your own deployment.

Analytics can be turned off per project from the Settings tab; collection stops immediately and no further events are recorded.
